Kimberly's Visit

Another visitor! This time it was Kimberly coming down during her spring break to visit my college to see if she would really want to come here. So who knows! This is a pic of us in front of the school chapel and she got hooked up with a whole box of strawberries, some sort of bribe I presume. Well I say, if thats what it takes to get her here then bribe away! =p
So, she got here around Tuesday evening and I picked her up and we went straight to school because there was a film festival going on so we went to that so she could soak up all the FC environment possible to get an idea of what it's all about. Then on to Chic-fil-a! But anyway...her and her dad had an official tour while I was locked away in a room with my councelor trying to decide what classes to sign up for for next semester. We met back up and went to chapel. After that KJ came to my music literature and psychology class. THEN we met up with her dad and ate in the cafeteria (my first time ever!) and sat with some of the admissions people. Then a little later they both attended my NT bible class. That was great having MR. M sitting behind me like a student. One of the students walked in and was very startled to see him sitting there and was like, "Whoa! You're not one of the usual students." Fun times.
By the way let me tell you my classes for next year...and no, no bowling OR golf this time!
For PE this time I'm gonna get toned and fit in a 8am Aerobics class
then I have...
Intermediate French
Old Testament Poetry and Wisdom Literature
Liberal Arts Math
New Testament Epistles: Ephesians& Colossians
Marriage and the Family
and....Voice Class!

Hello there...

Hey...so it has been a while since i've written. I decided to do it now since I have 10 minutes before class starts. So...I'm so thankful for a wonderful spring break! The first few days Fritha, her cousin Amanda, and I shopped non-stop for our bride's maid dress. Oh and for those of you who don't know, I'm going to be a bride's maid at Jeff and Fritha's wedding =) I was just excited to go to a wedding because it's been so long, but to actually be in one!!...I was thrilled. So it was a little bit of a trial, but a fun one. For me at least. First we were looking for formal dresses, then we switched back to casual. And first we were looking for different colors, then switched back to blues. Oy! So I did find a dress but returned it and found another dress the next day that was blue. Amanda found her a dress too so all was well.

On Wednesday Fritha and I got up at 5am and flew up to New Hampshire. It was so nice to see all the 3rd year girls and some others that I hadn't seen in a while. I even met a few new people. So it was a great time of fellowship and worship. The meetings really met my heart and I heard some things that I needed to hear. Well class is about to start now, but I just wanted to let people know that I'm still alive!! God bless!

1 class down 6 to go

Yay! It is finally done. The movie project, that is. It was showed today in class and I stayed up till 3:30am working on it last night. The procrastinating stunt man came up with a good idea for the movie. He suggested that we take some footage from the "bushman group", which is a group of guys that do crazy pranks in the middle of the night. So I got some footage and we interviewed some of the guys last night. I went home and editted my little heart out. It was fun actually. I love doing this kind of stuff. The exciting thing now is I finally got a firewire link on my computer so I can get my footage from my camera to the computer. So hopefully you'll be seeing some video blogs. Hooray for a saturday afternoon activity! Everyone liked the film by the way. I didn't win the ultimate prize (I don't even know what it was) but i'm sure I would of gotten 2nd place if there was the opportunity. So...there ya have it. I just wanted to let everyone know that i'm still alive and that intro to windows class is over!! Now...I need to start this research paper thats due on Monday =/ theres always something.
