and it begins again!

Aww yes, summer break...roller coasters, movies, beaches, and of course Disney's Princess Classics on ice. My summer break was one that I'll never forget. But let me not focus on the past, it's time to move and get my focus on school again! Yeah, so after a week of summer break I'm back in school. But it's fun school (I hope) this time. Today was my first class of Painting I. After class was out I excitedly called Melissa up to talk about line, texture, balance, and all those elements of art AND STUDIO! woo! So about 6 hours of class time a week, then 10 extra hours of work outside of class. I guess I won't be remodeling the whole house again this summer =(
Although it will be alot of work for a summer course, I'm still really really excited about it!
In other news...I've been hunting around for a job. I've applied at Jo-Ann Fabrics, Famous Footwear. I got an application for Babies-R-Us but haven't done anything with that yet. My friend Amber might hook me up with a job too, and it's looking positive, but I won't say anything till I know for sure. Man, what a long post..peace out.

It's over

It's all over folks. The last exam was on Wednesday which was American History. Those history exams are a killer. You have your multiple choice section, then you have 4 i.d.'s to write. That's writing a paragraph about a person or event. Then he had you write one out of 2 essays and I wrote about the civil rights movement from 1945 to 1965 and there is just not enough time to sqeeze all that info into an essay. But that was actually the exam I did the best on, but not good enough (grr). Then when I was done I walked outside and took a deep breath and smiled. I had accomplished one year of college, and survived! Of course after that, the running around wasn't quite over. I went out to celebrate, going to the beach, watching movies, riding roller coasters...etc. Then there was graduation, graduations parties, signing yearbooks, and then saying goodbyes..sigh.
I woke up this morning and I just don't really know what to do with myself. All my friends are hundreds of miles away now and there is no one at home. I thank God though that there is going to be a spectacular wedding soon...and I'll see people again and a few girls will be staying at my house. And up to that point I'll be so busy I'll be able to bury my blothpick (Zajone's "rebound effect")deep down inside my consciousness..muahhahaha, at least until my feelings reach that level of homeostasis. Yeah! I went to college!
