Design on a Dime

Alright alright. Things have been on the run. I've been keeping myself busy with house projects. As some of you know I was working on the guest room. Remember the before picture? Well it's almost done so i'll keep you posted, haha. Um..oh, then I went on the verge to redo the bathroom right in the middle of everything else, so that's been going on too. Now it's a tropical beach escape, hehehe, but not really, only my attempt of one. Kitchen is about to be done once Sara gets here, hurry up girl!
Off the subject, i'm about to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Maybe in 2 weeks or something. I want to hear about your extraction experience if you please. Let me know if it was fun (cough), or if you don't remember it, or give me your horror story, just don't scare me too bad. Ok Peace out.

Wisdom teeth out eh? Well, I have heard good and bad things. My experience was horrendous, but we mainly chalk that up to the fact that the guy who did it was a complete as*.

But others have had much better times than me, so get their stories...

No story as no teeth. That's right almost 23 and not a single wisdom tooth in my whole head. I like being me.

I was telling my brother I've never had a problem with mine either. Makes me cringe just thinking about it.

Had them out, was completely under for the whole thing and that was great! I only remember smiling really big at the doctor while saying, no I don't want that needle in my arm, then later I remember walking in a daze out to the car with my mom.

Only negatives I recall were lots of gross drool on my pillow the next day (maybe you didn't want to know that) and eating tons of stuff a la blender.

I had all four out last fall and was knocked out completely during the extraction. I recommend being "out"- especially if you have insurance that will pay for it. It was actually kind of fun going under- weird, floaty druggy feelings...spoken as one who doesn't have much experience with narcotics. My dear mother in law was there to guide me car-ward and homeward afterward...which was a good thing because I was moving around like a ninety year old. I also ate too much icecream the next day and threw up as a result. So the moral of my story is: Go under if you can, and don't eat too much icecream. And watch lots of movies. And enjoy being lazy.

Ooo! I love telling my wisdom teeth story! (And I love reading your blog again, Lisa - it's so wonderful!) I was on some kind of laughing gas or something gas and I was absolutly euphoric. It was such an amazing sensation. At one point I remember thinking, "too bad I can only get my wisdom teeth out once!" Although, at another point I was thinking about Alistair MacLean spy stories, and about how if I was a captured spy I would have no resistance to interrogation if they put me on drugs. Hmmm. Anyway, there was only about 1/2 an hour of pain and then the pain killers worked great and my cheeks puffed out like a chipmunk. Fun for all ages!

Well then, they should make a theme park out it the whole ordeal.
