He knows our heart's desires

I'm always impressed by how God really knows our heart's desire and He delights in giving them to us, just like that! Today I experienced that to a little degree. Way down here in Florida, away from a lot of my friends, it can get a lil lonely. When I went to bible school I left some friends behind in Florida knowing that I would probably never talk to them again. So now I come back to a big empty space in my life. I'm not much of a people person, but I still need and love them! I haven't had a big chance to meet new Christians cuz I go to school in the ghetto and the only way to get "fellowship" there is if I smoke out wit da sistahs in da hood (don't worry, no offers yet). Well that's not going to happen so....ANYWAYS, today I had a class reunion (only 2 weeks after graduation, ha! beat all of you) with my fellow graduate along with some other friends that drove down just today. Also in a few weeks I'm going to meet up with an old Fairwood friend when she comes to Florida. That's not the end! Another awesome friend of mine is flying down to visit AND...a girl that I was just in bible school with is only 1/2 hr drive from me right now (to my surprise as she left a messege on the answering machine yesterday). Well I love and miss Fairwood a whole bunch, but look at God bring Fairwood to me! 1500 miles away. Ok, well there is my praise. Remember that He is good. =) Oh, and I passed my first algebra test! Woooooo!

I know what you are going though being way down here in Florida. You leave here knowing that your life is going to change and when you come back after 3 years you have this emptiness left in your heart. The worst part is that you have to leave such great friends behind. But hey take it from me... Southwest has great deals.. Love Kim
